Bat traps are not usually used in most parts of the United States for the removal and management of invading bat species in a home, commercial or industrial structure. Many professional bat removal and bat control companies or bat pest control companies often use the latest techniques of bat management that include a meticulous bat inspection, followed by either the placement of bat exclusion devices and or, bat netting and then successfully identifying and sealing up all access and exits points. Homeowners often realize that getting rid of bats in attics, chimneys or other parts of their home is very difficult and sometime even dangerous work . it is impossible to simply remove the bats from a home with out having the home sealed properly to prevent the next bat colony infestation.

Bird poop, and the need to remove and cleanup up bird feces or bird droppings quickly can become a concern and can quickly change the appearance, even the smell of a home or business establishment.

It is amazing how a tiny pitter patter of little feet can be amplified by the ceiling and sound a lot larger then what they may actually be.The problem is that those little pitter patters can actually sound like an entire army is up in your attic and making it impossible to sleep.

A good example could be hearing a large noise and thinking it may be a raccoon, opossum and upon inspection finding fecal deposits from rats, mice or squirrels and upon inspection of the roof, soffits, vents and other areas of the home finding holes of around 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in size thus no larger animal would be able to enter the home in the first place.

Bats and birds often nest in attics and depending upon the species make a variety of noises either vocally or by movement with scratching sounds being very common. When any mother of a bat , squirrel , raccoons are away and the young are capable of crawling sounds can be heard round the clock not only as noises in the attic but also as noises in the walls.

If you suspect you may be hearing animal noises, noises in the attic, scratching in the walls or noises in the wall we recommend contacting a qualified professional who in addition to inspecting your attic can make a full inspection of your property and find the source of any noise in the attic. The sound may or not be caused by animal noises but any good inspector in the animal control industry will find the source of the sound, and be able to correct it

You can find a professional by using this web site and find a professional in your area from the following states:

-AL-Alabama / AK-Alaska /AZ – Arizona /AR -Arkansas / CA – California /CO – Colorado/CT – Connecticut /DE -Delaware / DC – Washington DC / FL – Florida /GA – Georgia /HI – Hawaii /ID -Idaho /IL – Illinois /IN – Indiana/ IA – Iowa /KS – Kansas /KY – Kentucky/ LA – Louisiana /ME – Maine /MD -Maryland /MA – Massachusetts / MI -Michigan /MN – Minnesota /MS – Mississippi /MO – Missouri / MT-Montana /NE – Nebraska /NV – Nevada /NH – New Hampshire /NJ – New Jersey /NM – New Mexico / NY -New York / NC – North Carolina /ND -North Dakota /OH – Ohio /OK – Oklahoma /OR – Oregon /PA-Pennsylvania /RI – Rhode Island / SC – South Carolina /SD – SouthDakota /TN – Tennessee /TX – Texas / UT – Utah /VI – Virginia/VT-Vermont /WA-Washington /WI-Wisconsin /WY -Wyoming

There are many other possible reasons for hearing noises in the attic and some of them may just be caused by some sort of mechanical movement or vibration.

Some of them may be as simple as a branch of a tree scraping the side of a home in the wind and hearing these noises from above and thinking the nose is coming from attic. Over the years other noises caused by faulty mechanical systems in the attic may be the cause such as a heater , ac unit needing a service and possibly lubrication, dripping from a condensation pan, a hole in the roof , faulty vents, pipes, cables ,wires in the attic . A pager, cell phone dropped in the attic by a family member or technician and the list goes on.

Having bats in your home is a very serious problem, and yes even if they are confined to the attic.

Bats urinate and defecate (Bat Guano) anywhere they roost, causing staining and odor problems that are difficult to remove. They are also prone to carrying dozens of diseases that are dangerous to humans, including histoplasmosis (a lung disease caused by the spores of fungus which grow on the droppings — or guano — of bats, other mammals, and birds) and rabies. You can differentiate bat droppings from mice droppings because they are more crumblier in texture.

Bats can be beneficial to humans because of their affinity for eating flying insects, such as mosquitoes. But if they find their way into your home and take up residence, they can also be some of the most destructive, dangerous, and expensive house pests to control. And it’s not hard for them to find their way in: Bats can often squeeze through the smallest window openings infact all they need is the size of a pea or 3/8ths of an inch access.

Home builders make homes watertight but even the best builders leave access points for bats, birds and mice and are not aware of it.

To bat-proof your home, you should seal all common entry points larger than three-eighths of an inch on any side. Since bats cannot gnaw to enlarge an opening, you can seal entries with a variety of materials, such as hardware cloth, sheet metal, wood, or fiberglass insulation.

The ideal time to seal the openings is sometime before April 1st and after August 31st in most parts of North America since bats hibernate during that time. Many states have local laws to protect bats during their maternity periods. So please check local laws.

You cannot remove the bats in your attic using noise, light, garlic, moth balls, and other similar techniques. Bats can actually put up with smells so strong that humans would have to wear protective masks. Since bats are a protected species, their removal must only be done by a trained professional, like our trained technicians at http://findtyhewildlifepro.us. These companies can also repair your home or business so that the bat won’t return.

Put our experience to use for you and get not only peace of mind but protect your families health and the overall value and resale of your home.

Professional Exterminators
A Exterminator is a practitioner in pest control. Most on the directory handle both invertebrate (insects-roaches,ants termites, bed bugs, etc.) and vertebrate (bats, birds, reptiles & animals). Some specialize in vertebrate pests or invertebrate pests only. Some may even be able to help you capture a exotic species like boas, pythons, large snakes, monitor lizards, scorpions. Their directory pages however describe their exact services they offer in your local area.

Attic Cleanups & Restoration
When animals co-habitate in your homes walls, attics or living area certain precautions may be required to sanitize noxious odors, bacteria, and fungal diseases which have been proven to affect the overall health of family and pets and the resale value of your home. Common services include attic insulation replacement, soiled attic insulation removal, deodorization, sanitization , repair or replacement of damaged areas, insect treatments and more.

Call 800-714-8727 to be connected with a raccoon removal specialist in Madison Wisconsin.

Madison Wisconsin is home to many species of wildlife. The area offers more than ample shelter, food and water, which makes the carrying capacity of the land able to support more wildlife such as squirrels, raccoons, and bats! Bats are fine with most people until they begin finding that they have a bat infestation in there attic. Bats then become a pest removal issue which most companies are afraid to touch. If done wrong, it can be a disaster, as with any situation involving wildlife removal from homes.

I understand why people want raccoons out of crawl spaces and attics. Most customers have been struggeling with the issue for some time prior to calling us. We are the last resort, and we wont let you down. We can usually have raccoons out in 12 hours from when we start. Humanely treating the issue keeping the animal in mind as well as the client.

Raccoon Removal – These animals are the number one pest in Illinois. They can gain access
to your attic or home and cause severe damage. Raccoons can also carry diseases such as
roundworm and rabies. We set humane traps to remove unwanted raccoons.

Coyote Removal – Coyotes have few predators here in Iowa. Coyotes can be big threat in a
urban area to pets pets , small children and even the elderly. We know how to trap coyotes,
get rid of coyotes and have years of experience as Coyote Trappers.

Skunks Removal- Skunks also like to dig under concrete or decks to find places to live.
Leaving a garage door open is very inviting for them and often find pet food there. They also
can tear up a yard looking for grubs. When threatened they can spray their strong musk odor
fifteen feet. They also are known carriers of rabies. We can trap skunks with out them
spraying.

Squirrel Removal- We now how toi trap squirrels and get rid of squirrels. Squirrels can be a
real problem in attics or soffits. They can damage the electic wires, cause house fires and
make a lot of noise during the day in an attic. Small cage traps are used at the entry point to
remove them and after all squirrels are caught the access points must be securely repaired.

Ground Hog Removal- Ground hogs can cause a lot of damage by digging under sheds, wood
piles and foundations. They can also do damage to gardens, flowers and plants. Cage
trapping to remove them and exclusion methods can be done to keep them from coming
back under structures.

Chipmunk Removal – Chipmunks are very cute but when left to multiply in large numbers
they can cause structural damage by burrowing under foundations, stairs and patios. They
will eat pet food, flower bulbs and bird feed. Setting multiple cage traps are the best way to
contain them from getting out of hand.

Beaver Removal- Beavers are best known for their damage to trees but they can dig dens
into man made dams that will weaken and leak. They also build their own dams to hold the
water back sometimes causing flooding into yards, fields or roadways. Several different
trapping methods are used to remove unwanted beavers.

Muskrat Removal – Muskrats also like to burrow into man made dams in ponds or lakes that
could break way over time. They will also burrow their tunnels into shorelines of yards that
cave in over time. In yards they will eat plants and bark off of trees. Muskrats multiply quickly
and can be caught under water in traps.

Dead Animal Removal – If you have a dead animal on or in your property, we can remove it,
sanitize and deodorize the area.
